Kajaalu / Sweet made with Maida in sugar syrup
This is an easy to make sweet with all purpose flour and can be stored for a while. The recipe tastes good with ghee rather than with Vanaspati. You can also substitute water with milk while making the dough, or use equal amount of milk and water while kneading the dough. If there is very less time to fold the dough to the shape shown in the picture try cutting it into small rectangular shapes and follow the same procedure.
